The phone receptionist and the chat agent answer in your business's name, say that they are AI assistants and send you each customer's details. Every agent works with or without a Balch Web website, and there is no contract.
AI Phone Receptionist
$500 setup, then $200 per month
You keep your number, and the calls you do not answer go to the phone receptionist. It answers common questions about your services, service area and hours, takes the job details and sends you a summary of every call.
Website Chat Agent
$250 setup, then $75 per month
A chat window on your website answers visitors' questions from the facts you have given me and sends you their details as a lead. It can be added to most websites, including many built on Wix, Squarespace, WordPress or GoDaddy, as long as the site allows a short piece of code.
Lead Follow-Up Automations
$500 setup, then $100 per month, for all four
Four routine follow-up tasks, done automatically and set up together: a text message to a caller whose call you missed, if they ask for one; every new lead sent to your phone or email and recorded in a spreadsheet; a review request to a customer after a finished job; and a reminder to follow up on quotes you have sent.
Agents bought together with a website, or with each other, as a bundle cost less than the same services bought separately. Anything not listed here is quoted before any work begins. Every price, and what each monthly fee includes, is listed under Pricing.
A Website, If You Need One
No agent requires a Balch Web website. If you do not have a website, or would like a new one, I can build one for you.
I Build Your Site Before You Pay Me Anything.
Not a proposal or a slide deck — a working site with your name, your reviews and your phone number on it. You open it on your phone and see the whole thing. If you decide against it, you have spent ten minutes and I have spent an afternoon. That is how every website starts. An AI agent is different: it is set up once its setup fee has been paid.
A Website That Works on a Phone
Your customers are on their phones when the roof is leaking. The site is fast and simple, with your phone number always on screen.
Your Reviews, Kept Current
On the Fully Managed plan, I monitor your Google Business Profile for new reviews and problems, and add your newest and best reviews to your website, so visitors always see your latest work. Managing the profile itself stays with you.
Changes When You Need Them
A new phone number, new hours, new photos. You email or text me and I make the change. Included on the Fully Managed plan; $50 each on the Domain Only plan. You never need to log in to anything.
A website is $500 to build, then $25 per year or $50 per month to keep it running. Every price is listed under Pricing.

You Send Me the Details
Your services, the towns you cover, your hours, the questions customers ask most and what you need to know about each new job. I reply with what I would set up and what it would cost.
You Approve, Then I Set It Up
Once you approve my proposal and pay the setup fee, I set the agent up to answer from the facts you have given me, then test it with calls or chats of my own before it answers a customer.
You Switch It On
For the phone receptionist, you keep your number and forward the calls you do not answer to a number I give you; I will show you how. For the chat agent, I send you a short piece of code to add to your website. If I built your site, I add it myself.
I Keep It Running
Each month I test it, update its answers when you email or text me, and send you a summary of calls and leads.

Every Agent's Monthly Fee Includes

The setup fee and the first month are paid together, and the monthly fee renews from that day.
Phone carriers must approve a business before it can send text messages, and approval usually takes one to three weeks. Until then, call summaries and new leads are sent to you by email, and the missed-call text message begins once approval is granted.

Each bundle costs less than the same services bought separately. A bundle with a website includes the Fully Managed plan in its monthly fee.

When you approve your site, you choose a plan and pay the build fee together with the first payment of that plan. You can switch or cancel at any time.

Questions About AI Agents
Will Customers Know It Is an AI?
Yes. The agent says that it is an AI assistant at the start of every call and every chat. If a call is recorded or transcribed, the caller is told so at the same time.
Do I Need a Website From You?
No. An agent works with the website you already have, and the phone receptionist works with no website at all.
What Do I Have to Do?
For the phone receptionist, set your phone to forward the calls you do not answer to the number I give you. For the chat agent, add the short piece of code I send you to your website, or pass it to whoever looks after the site; if I built your site, I add it myself. After that, you read the summaries and call your customers back.
Can I Change What It Says?
Yes. Email or text me the change, such as new hours, a new service or another town, and I will update the agent. Changes are included in the monthly fee.
What Happens When It Cannot Answer a Question?
It takes the customer's name, contact details and question, and sends them to you so that you can follow up.
Is There a Contract?
No. There is no term commitment on any agent or website plan. You can cancel at any time, and the service runs to the end of the period you have paid for. Website plans can also be switched at any time from your billing page.
Questions About Websites
How Long Does the Build Take?
Typically one to two weeks from the time I have your details. A shorter timeline can usually be arranged on request.
What If I Start on the Domain Only Plan and Want More Help Later?
You can move to the Fully Managed plan whenever it suits you, with no fee to switch. Switch from your billing page, or ask me and I will make the change.
What Counts as a Content Change?
A new phone number, updated hours, replaced photos or a new testimonial. Larger work, such as new pages or a redesign, is quoted separately on either plan.
What You Can Expect From Me
If a software or website provider has let you down before, you will want to know how I work. These are the three commitments I make to every client.
No Hidden Fees
One flat fee to set up your agent or build your site, then the agent's monthly fee or the website plan you choose. Larger work, such as a custom build, new pages or a redesign, is quoted separately, so nothing appears on a bill by surprise.
No Contract
No term commitment on any agent or website plan. Switch plans or cancel at any time. If the service stops being worth it to you, you stop paying.
You Deal Directly With Me
There is no account manager and no ticket system. When you email, the person who set up your agent or built your site is the one who replies.
