Terms of Service

Effective October 13, 2026

These terms apply when you buy a website, an AI agent or lead follow-up automations from Balch Web, which is run by Isaac Balch, and when you use balchweb.com. By paying for a service you agree to them. If you have a question, email balchweb@gmail.com.

What I Provide

Websites, an AI phone receptionist, a website chat agent and lead follow-up automations, as described on balchweb.com and in the proposal I send you. Anything not listed there is quoted before any work begins.

Prices and Payment

• Prices are the ones listed on balchweb.com and in your proposal. You pay through balchweb.com/pay. Payments are processed by Stripe, which emails your receipt and every invoice that follows.
• AI agents and bundles: the setup fee and the first month are paid together when you approve, and the monthly fee renews on that day each month.
• Websites: when you approve the site, you choose an upkeep plan and pay the build fee together with the plan's first payment: Domain Only, billed yearly, with content changes at $50 each; or Fully Managed, billed monthly, with edits included. The plan begins on the day you pay. Every bundle that includes a website comes with the Fully Managed plan.
• If my prices change, the plan you already have keeps its price unless I tell you otherwise by email first.

Cancelling

There is no contract. You can cancel at any time from your billing page or by emailing me, and the service keeps running until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Your Part

• Give me accurate facts about your business: your services, the towns you cover, your hours and anything you want the agent to say. You are responsible for that information and for following up with the customers the agent sends you.
• Tell me when something changes, so I can update your site or your agent.
• Only send me photos, reviews and other material you have the right to use.
• For an AI phone receptionist, you set up call forwarding on your own phone. For a chat agent on a website I did not build, you or your web person add the short piece of code I send you.
• Use the services lawfully. They may not be used for unsolicited calls or texts, or for any form of spam.

How the AI Agents Work

• The agent tells every caller and visitor that it is an AI assistant. If a call is recorded or transcribed, the caller is told so at the start of the call.
• It answers from the facts you approve. Like any AI, it can make mistakes. It does not book appointments, take payments, quote prices or transfer calls unless that has been built in for you.
• It is not an emergency service.
• The services depend on phone carriers, internet providers and other services outside my control, so I cannot guarantee that every call, chat or message is answered, captured or delivered.
• Text messages start only after the phone carriers approve the business for texting, which usually takes one to three weeks. Until then, summaries and new leads are sent by email.

Text Message Terms

Texts are sent only to someone who has just called a business I serve and asked for a text back, and to business owners who have asked for alerts about their own new leads. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. What Belongs to Whom

• Your business information, your photos and the leads and customer details the services collect for you are yours.
• The phone numbers, agents and automations I set up for you run in my own accounts and stay mine. You get what they do (calls answered, summaries and leads), not logins to the accounts behind them.
• I register and renew your website's domain for you as part of your upkeep plan.

Limits of Responsibility

I provide the services with care, but to the extent the law allows, I am not responsible for lost business, missed calls or leads, or other indirect losses, and my total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid me in the three months before it.

Changes to These Terms

If these terms change, I will update them here and change the date at the top. If a change affects a service you are paying for, I will tell you by email before it applies.
